The Yannica Set

The Inflection Point

The Yannica Set offer improvised synthesizer experiments coupled with drums, upright bass, saxophone and trumpet.  The results vary from good to transcendent.  The Portland State University Vanguard had a slightly different take:  "...for six consecutive minutes, they did manage to make something that sounded similar to music...then a shoeless man in front of the bongos took over".   Coldplay is on a different label bud.
